Honestly, this is one of my favorite paintings that I’ve ever painted. While there was no intended literal meaning behind this piece at the time, it certainly has come to represent a particular emotional state which has become familiar to me over the past few years; angst simultaneously paired with vulnerability and a willingness to blossom, all the while under the encouraging, nourishing rays of that which is larger than me, giving me strength to go on - despite it all.
Original Artwork - Spray Paint, Acrylics, Colored Pencils, and Marker. 11 x 14 x 3/4 inches. On canvas.
